On October 10-13, the Rabbit Room will convene Hutchmoot 2019 at Christ Community Church in Franklin, Tennessee. You're invited to come and enjoy a weekend of live music, delicious food and conversation, and a series of discussions centered on art, faith, and the telling of great stories across a range of mediums.

The second event of the Art of Evocation series features singer-songwriters who have found healing by creating art in the midst of mental health struggles. The night will explore ways in which we can all use art to reach a deeper understanding of our problems, to create a space for others who are struggling to feel less alone, and to find healing through the act of creation. The Art of Evocation Series encourages discussion on relevant topics from Christian perspectives and explores the ways in which art can further the conversation.

Carolyn Arends has released 12 albums and is the author of 3 critically-acclaimed books. 15 of Arends’ songs have become top 10 radio singles on the Canadian pop and US Christian charts. Arends has earned 2 Dove Awards, 3 Juno Nominations, and was recognized as the West Coast Music Awards’ Songwriter of the Year. Her prose has been recognized by The Word Guild, The Evangelical Press Association and The Canadian Church Press Awards.
In addition to her busy touring and speaking schedule, Carolyn has been a regular columnist for Christianity Today, Faith Today, and CT Women, and has served as an adjunct professor at ACTS Seminary, Pacific Life Bible College, Columbia Bible College, and Prairie Bible College. She has a degree in Psychology and English from Trinity Western University and a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Regent College. She lives in Surrey, BC with her husband, Mark, and their children Benjamin and Bethany.
Carolyn is currently the Director of Education for Renovaré, a far-reaching organization that encourages and nurtures personal and spiritual renewal. She continues to be available on a select basis for speaking, retreat facilitation, concerts, worship leading and songwriting and performance seminars.

REGISTRATION BEGINS April 2
Registration for Hutchmoot 2019 will begin on April 2 at 1:00 p.m. CST. There are 300 seats, which will be available on a first-come/first-served basis, and the cost is $320 per person.
Snacks are provided for breakfast and included in the registration price.
A boxed meal will be available to purchase for lunch (there are also a multitude of nearby dining options).
Dinner (Thu, Fri, Sat) is included in the registration price.
Lodging is not included.
IMPORTANT: Registration is NON-REFUNDABLE. If you register but are unable to attend the event for any reason, no refunds will be issued. You may transfer your ticket to another person using the Universe system. Do to so, you will need to log in to your ticketing information at Universe.com and transfer all registration information into the new ticket-holder's name.
WAIT LIST - If Hutchmoot 2019 sells out, the system will automatically begin a waitlist. In the event that additional spots become available, those on the wait list will be notified.
