Lodging in Nashville
There are a wide variety of options for lodging in the Nashville area. We encourage registrants to utilize booking services such as Priceline.com or Travelocity.com to find the best rates. Listed below are two options that worked well for attendees in 2010.
The first option, Hamilton Inn, is near the airport. It provides complimentary shuttle service to and from the terminals but is a 20-30 minute drive from the Hutchmoot venue. There are very few restaurants and shopping areas at this location.
The second option, Courtyard by Marriott, is nearer the Hutchmoot venue and located in the heart of Nashville's tourist district but does not provide transportation to and from the airport. It is approximately a 10-15 minute drive from the venue.
Frequently Asked Question: Will you offer group rates? Last year we offered group discounts for Hutchmoot attendees but learned that people were able to find better rates at the same hotels by using online booking services. Since we can't offer the best rates possible, we've decided not to pursue group rates this year.
